QCharts Movies

What are "QCharts Movies"? These are screen capture movies that I have made using a piece of software called Camtasia. When you click on these movies, depending on how your computer is setup they should open up and run on your computer in Windows Media Player. You may need to download them first. They are all of varying length, some short and some longer. They will stream from this site, so you'll see Windows Media Player run and buffer them as they get going. If you have any feedback on this new feature (good or bad), or any requests for topics you'd like to see covered, please send in an email by clicking here.

One other note to point out. Since these videos are running in Windows Media Player, you can Pause, Start, Stop and Rewind at your will. So feel free to do so. Depending on the resolution of your monitor, you may need to scroll in your browser window to get to these controls in Windows Media Player.

IF you have problems seeing these videos in your video player, you may download the Camtasia video player free of charge by going here: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/accessories/player.asp  It will play these files without a problem, so if you need it, it's there. If you are playing them fine in Windows Media Player, then you don't need to bother with the Camtasia player.

3- How to Resize the Candles

This video shows how to "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" of a chart window, so you can see your candles better. This was made in response to an email question that was submitted by another student.

5- How to add Charts and Quote Sheets to your Workspace

6- Let's Talk about Quote Sheets
This video talks about Quote Sheets: opening one, putting symbols in, add/delete/move columns, using label rows, sorting, how to save a quote sheet.

7 - How to add a "comment" column into a quote sheet

9- Running QCharts with Microsoft Vista - this shows some specific settings that Larry Marchman and I worked on to get QCharts to run on a Vista computer. The video window is a little tall (my apologies) so you may have to scroll it up and down a little to get to the video player controls at the bottom of the screen. I'm working on re-shooting a better sized one, but this will at least get the knowledge out there that is needed for those of you who are running Vista and QCharts.

9- How to stretch QCharts across all 4 monitors - this movie shows you how to stretch your QCharts across a multi-monitor setup.
