Features that were in v5.x and are not in v6.x

Back to Buglist

1- Intraday option charting capability should be made available in v6.x

2- In progress 6.1.0.1678 - Migrate the Breadthalyzer symbols over.

3- Downloading Data - If you only have 1-2 stocks, it doesn't matter, but I frequently have > 100 as I do many studies considering "what if?" In version 5., you can do all the download using the keyboard, but in 6.0 it is required to use the mouse to select "Done" after the data has been downloaded which means that you have to take your fingers off the keyboard. A seemingly minor change, but for me it's a great irritation as it slows me down quite a bit.

4- We need to get the quote sheet labels back, like "Industry" and "Sector" and others that were present on the Continuum network and not on the eSig network (yet)
"I also really miss the ability to display the sector and industry information in the quote sheet. This is especially valuable when displaying and then exporting hot lists of gainers or losers. Without this feature, I'll be spending a whole lot of time on Yahoo and then copy pasting the data over to my spreadsheets."

5- DONE. The AutoWave function needs to be repaired.

6 - When you click on the symbol in your quote sheet, and click on the “Chain Link” symbol to pull up option chains, it doesn’t put the symbol you selected into the “Underlying or Futures Root field”. Assuming there was not anything previously in the symbol field, you have to enter the symbol yourself. On the other hand, if there was any data previously there from the last time you clicked on this Options chain link, such as the symbol or the strike min or max or ‘Type’ (call or put) you have to clear it out.

When you are working quickly to assess a trade, it’s one more thing you shouldn’t have to do. I would expect the symbol to be populated (from what I selected in the quote sheet), and all the other fields defaulted to blank/unselected. You didn’t have to do this in 5.1. Should be an easy fix.
