Below are some of the more common questions on QCharts 6.1.x
1- Should we still use QFAI to launch QCharts version 6.1.x?
No.
6.1.x connects to a Continuum server
only to get the Breadthalyzer symbol data. These are the "QC" tickers.
All other data comes from the eSignal network, thus the Continuum
network is largely irrelevant at this time. QFAI is no longer
needed.
There is a Thread at eSignal
Forums that gives some details on the structure of 6.X data server
connections. Click
THIS.
2- When do we HAVE to upgrade to v6.1.x? You should upgrade now. Version 5 will be terminated on Oct 26, 2009.
3- In version 5 I had a LOT more intraday (minutes charts) data than I have in v6. Where did all my data go? Are they gonna put it back? Please be sure your account is enabled for Extended Intraday History. Click here.
4- I keep getting this message "Expanded session information downloaded. Feel free to restart the application when it is convenient." - and I'm running QCharts 6 in Vista. If a user is on Vista and doesn't have XP compatibility & admin mode turned on, then they'll see this every time they start QCharts. For instructions on how to do this, please go to the movie page and watch movie #10.
5- Where can I find what each of the HotList's are reporting on? http://kb.esignalcentral.com/article.asp?article=3032&p=25
